Bronx Arts and Science Charter School
Bronx, New York
Built on Accountability.
Project Overview
2800 Bruckner Boulevard is the new middle-school campus for Bronx Arts and Science Charter School in the Bronx, New York. The project transformed an existing three-story building through a major rooftop expansion, creating additional space for a full-height gymnasium and new educational facilities, including a dedicated STEM lab for robotics and science.
Blue Wave Steel completed approximately 85 tons of structural steel, opening the existing roof and extending the structure approximately 15 feet to create the new upper-level space. The scope included the new structural steel framing and stairs, along with miscellaneous, mechanical, and structural reinforcements required throughout the project. ES Builders served as the general contractor.
